About Us

Obu is a very small city in Aichi, Japan where their philosophy is stated as "A City of Good Health". Our interpretation of "good health" is serving great ramen to good people for fun times. Our ramen is bold yet simple.

Our broth is created in a specialized high-pressure cooker resulting in an enhanced rich and clean broth; showcasing an authentic flavor that separates us from others. We utilize custom technologies to remove impurities from the bones in order to create a broth with genuinely satisfying flavor that retains most of the nutrients from our exceptional ingredients.

We aim to offer a sense of home, where you can enjoy a hot bowl of comfort, while enjoying the company of friends or family. To amp up the experience, we offer a full bar service and high definition tv screens for sports events. Here at Obu, there are no fancy rules or formal eating, we just want our customers to have a memorable experience filled with many laughs and good conversation over a bowl of our ramen.
